Toyota Industries, the renowned subsidiary of Toyota focused on machinery and vehicles, announced that they will launch a trio of customized RAV4 PHEVs at the 2023 Tokyo Auto Salon. The models will be called “Adventure”, “OffRoad PKG” and “Sporty PKG” and are set to make their debut at the event.

The customized plug-in hybrids will be based on the latest RAV4, but with redesigned exterior and interior features that differentiate each model. The “Adventure” model will feature a black exterior with a red accent and 18-inch wheels, with a sport-style interior featuring sporty bucket seats, a digital instrument panel, and an aerodynamic hood. For off-roading enthusiasts, the “OffRoad PKG” model will feature silver-accented off-road tires, black wheel arch moldings, and a two-tone interior. Those looking for a more sporty look will be able to opt for the “Sporty PKG” model, which will feature a red exterior, a black and red interior, and a lowered suspension.

The customized RAV4 PHEVs will be produced at the Nagakusa Plant in Japan, which is also responsible for the production of the regular RAV4. It is expected that the trio of models will be unveiled at the 2023 Tokyo Auto Salon and that they will be made available to the public thereafter.

The OffRoad PKG also has a custom bodykit to make it stand out.

All three packages are powered by the same plug-in hybrid powertrain, which combines a 2.5-liter petrol engine and dual electric motors. It produces a combined 302 hp (225 kW / 306 PS), and is sent to all four wheels through the standard E-Four AWD system.
