Dodge Performance Package Designed to Make Your Vehicle - Like the 2024 Dodge Charger Daytona EV - Last Longer Plus Make You a Better Driver

The Performance package is long term insurance for your vehicle. Plus, the package will send you to driver's school so you can better handle all that power.

Dodge is offering the buyers of its high-horsepower performance vehicles a new vehicle protection package that provides additional coverage for some of the vehicle components that aren’t covered by the standard warranties. The six-year/75,000-mile package, part of the Mopar Vehicle Protection Plan program, offers coverage of items such as engine, driveline, brakes and transmission that may see more wear and tear on performance vehicles. The new 2024 Dodge Charger Daytona EV or the 2024 Dodge Durango 392 that is seeing its huge HEMI engine being phased out are prime candidates for the extra coverage.

The all-new, all-electric 2024 Dodge Charger Daytona delivers up to 670 horsepower and is expected to reach 0-60 mph in 3.3 seconds, retaining its title as the world’s quickest and most powerful muscle car. Plus, the performance car division of Stellantis will eventually have gas-powered models of the Dodge Charger that will have up to 550-horsepower.

Production of the “Last Call” 2024 Dodge Durango SRT 392 AlcHEMI is supposed to begin this month, with vehicles arriving at available dealerships starting in May. Production of all V-8 HEMI-powered Dodge Durango models will wrap up at the end of 2024. The 710-horsepower Dodge Durango SRT Hellcat is the most powerful SUV ever. It is powered by the supercharged 6.2-liter HEMI Hellcat V-8 engine. There is also a Durango with a 5.7L HEMI. Both HEMI engines are being phased out at the end of 2024.

Unique Driver Training to Improve Vehicle Performance

In addition to vehicle protection, Dodge Complete Performance Package will include instruction at Radford Racing School, the official high-performance driving school of Dodge//SRT. This is the first time that a performance package from Mopar Vehicle Protection will include a performance driving school program. The one-day experience at Radford Racing School puts owners behind the wheel of Dodge//SRT vehicles. Drivers will learn how to harness all of the horsepower at their disposal during driving exercises, including team slalom, autocross and hot laps. Typically, a day at the Radford Racing School, located in Chandler, Arizona, can cost as much as $1,500.

How the Added Driver Training Benefits Everyone

If Dodge can make their customers better drivers, it is a win-win situation for everyone. First of all, better drivers put less wear and tear on their vehicles. Learning how to decelerate without having to slam on the brakes all the time, lessens the pressure on the brakes and brake pads. Frequent high speed braking situations destroy tire tread leading to bald spots and dangerous driving situations, not to mention the expense of replacing expensive tires more often. The biggest benefit to the added training is potentially keeping drivers out of accidents. Too many inexperienced drivers have wrapped muscle cars around trees or had life-changing injuries.

Other Benefits from the Additional Coverage

The Dodge Complete Performance Package also includes coverage of lube, oil and filter services, tire rotations, coverage of factory-recommended scheduled maintenance, replacement of most wear/tear components, including some worn tire replacement and roadside assistance.

The Dodge Complete Performance Package provides additional coverage on more than 5,000 parts and components including:
