KBB.com ranks 2017 Acura TLX a '10 Best New Car Deal' for April

KBB.com (Kelley Blue Book) ranks 2017 Acura TLX sport sedan #5 in the overall “10 Best New Car Deals” for April. TLX finds itself in good company with a very eclectic grouping of hybrids, premium sedans, crossovers and SUVs.

Looking to KBB.com’s latest findings: Based on qualified expert automotive market analysis, 2017 Acura TLX ranks #5 in April’s best car deals of the month, and does so without manufacture subsidized cash-back incentives. Last week, Torque News revisited 2017 Acura TLX, and deemed Acura’s top selling sport sedan “a solid offer.” Apparently KBB concurs.

Looking to the numbers

Founded in 1926, Kelley Blue Book has long been considered the Bible of the auto industry, and swings a big bat when it comes to spreading across the board transparency in fair-market auto pricing.

According to KBB.com, based on a MSRP of $32,950, the fair market value for a base model 2017 Acura TLX i-4 is $28,984 + all associated fees, licensing and sales tax, if applicable -- resulting in a 36 month (term) payment of $279, with $999 down ,due at signing. Frankly, that’s one heck of a deal for a new Acura TLX. *I’ve yet to locate this deal in person. Read KBB’s announcement here.

Acura TLX presents precision engineered comfort and performance

While I may question KBB’s market findings, there’s little doubt that with a 2018 TLX model refresh slated for late Spring dealership arrival, with a tad of artful bi-lateral negotiation, one will find a meaningful discount on their 2017 Acura TLX model of choice. Good luck!
