The all-new 2015 Mercedes-Benz GLA-Class is launching this month and will blow away a new generation of buyers in Chicago tomorrow. Mercedes-Benz is bringing the Evolution Tour to Chicago tomorrow and it’s coming to nine cities across the U.S. The concert series features three bands who will be playing to an intimate, invite-only audience. Tomorrow night, Thursday, September 18, Young the Giant will be in Chicago to help Mercedes show off the new 2015 Mercedes-Benz GLA-Class to a new generation of buyers.

This is brilliant marketing by the German automaker as they attract a new buyer to the luxury brand. Mercedes wants to get new millennial buyers into their cars, and once you test drive the new luxury compacts, they hope you will be hooked. How will Mercedes attract a new generation of buyers to the brand with the GLA-Class?

4MATIC all-wheel-drive technology

The GLA-Class features the 4MATIC all-wheel-drive technology, which offers a tailor-made 4WD drive for this luxury compact SUV. GLA offers excellent traction in wet or dry conditions, outstanding agility, along with optimum handling safety and energy efficiency. The sporty AMG variants use the performance-oriented AMG 4MATIC all-wheel drive, which provides added sporty driving dynamics.

The 2015 GLA-Class is the first Mercedes to be available with the new-generation all-wheel-drive 4MATIC with fully variable torque distribution. The new system features a power take-off to the rear axle that is integrated into the seven-speed dual clutch automatic transmission, and the rear-axle gear with integrated, electrohydraulically controlled multi-disc clutch. The new-generation 4MATIC has a lower weight and also allows fully variable distribution of the drive torque between front and rear axles.

This event was a total disaster, they turned away over 300 people waiting in line because they were at "capacity". Why would they give out so many winning tickets if they couldn't fulfill them? This definitely didn't make me feel like buying a Mercedes any time soon...
