Sunroofs are a great way to let some extra sunlight in and have a breeze flow through the car. But what isn't so great is when a sunroof falls into a vehicle. Unfortunately for a group of Audi vehicles are being recalled for this issue.

Audi has announced a recall of 536 A8 and S8 models from the 2007 to 2009 model years because of the sunroof falling out while driving. Audi started getting complaints last winter from owners and began investigating. What they found out is that the sunroof glass could separate from the frame because the adhesive wasn't applied correctly. If the glass separates, it could either fall into the interior or fly out of the vehicle and cause a road hazard.

The fix will have dealers add additional adhesive between the sunroof glass and frame to keep it together. Audi will be notifying owners about the problem this month. If you have any questions, you are asked to call Audi's customer service at 1-800-253-2834 and mention recall number 60C3.
