Fredric Aasbo drifts his 800 horsepower 2JZ Speedhunters Toyota 86-X on a mountain pass in Norway.

It’s one thing to go drifting on a closed track, but imagine taking an 800 hp Toyota GT86 coupe on a high mountain pass and drifting the car while passing another car on a two lane road. That’s what Fredric Aasbo did on a mountain pass in Norway behind the wheel of his 800 horsepower 2JZ Speedhunters Toyota GT86-X coupe.

Check out this driver who has nerves of steel as he passes within a few feet of a solid rock wall and then passes a slower Shelby GT500 on the narrow two lane mountain pass.

There was a steep drop off on this high mountain pass in Norway, and one slip of this driver and he catapults across the small guard rail and plunges thousands of feet into the abyss. It’s happened a number of times at the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb race in Colorado.
