Subaru’s Sports Cars WRX/STI and BRZ Stay Glowing Hot in Canada

As the temperature drops in Canada, the 2017 Subaru WRX/STI and BRZ sports cars get hot.

The Subaru brand is soaring in North America. Both the U.S. and Canada are setting new records every month. The 2017 WRX, WRX STI and BRZ sports cars are doing especially well up north in Canada. Subaru Canada Inc. reports the WRX and WRX STI, as well as the BRZ, sports cars continue to be hot items with November sales up 46.5 and an astounding 83.3 percent, respectively.

That’s quiet a difference compared to BRZ sales in the U.S. where the sports coupe is down 37.5 percent in November and down 19.6 percent for the year. The WRX and WRX STI performance sedans continue to be hotter in Canada than in the U.S. too.

The total Subaru lineup in Canada is doing well. They report with one month to go, sales are just 123 units away from last year’s total numbers. Sales in 2016 have been continually on the rise for the Japanese automaker, with year-to-date increases of 7.5 percent. Subaru Canada is on a hot pace for its fifth consecutive annual sales record.

The 2017 Subaru Forester SUV is the top-seller, with Outback wagon and Crosstrek crossover coming in next. With the all-new US-built 2017 Impreza, coming online this month, the brand will see another record year in Canada. The 2017 WRX. WRX STI and BRZ sports cars are contributing in a big way as sales are hot as the temperatures drop up north.
