Magnus Walker is a very unique 911 Porsche collector that has a passion for the cars that he restores.

Magnus Walker is not the kind of Porsche owner that you would expect to have the kind of collection that is to die for. He doesn’t wear a suit, and won’t be asked to be on the cover of GQ magazine. But Walker has a passion for the cars that he restores and collects and that is what all Porsche owners share in common.

And the passion for the German cars started back when he was a ten-year-old kid when he dreamed about owning Porsche’s. He even wrote a letter to the Porsche factory asking if he could have a job designing the sports cars. He actually received a letter back form Porsche asking him to “give us a call when you get older.”

Walker is a clothing entrepreneur and his collection of Porsche’s is a labor of love. His incomparable passion for the 911 shows through in a short film below called "Urban Outlaw." Over the twenty plus years of collecting the sports cars, he has owned over 40 911’s. His goal when he started, was to own every 911 produced from 1964 through 1973 when Porsche introduced the Carrera RS.

Walker says the 64 was “the most difficult one to get.” Today, he has every 911 from Porsche except for the 1973. Walker buys Porsche 911’s that need a new lease on life and puts them back together. what started as a hobby, Walker is now a well known customizer and collector.

Film produce Tamir Moscovici has worked up a short film on Walker called "Urban Outlaw" that documents the incredible collector from his workshop in Los Angeles, California. His business was built from a true passion and dedication, to the Porsche 911 and the film is inspiring to watch. The well-done short film is supplemented with stunning imagery of Walker driving his custom Porsches as he is driving along the Pacific Coast Highway.

As Walker describes his passion for the 911, he says its all about the smell and sound of the German sports car that gets him excited and his blood pumping. He doesn’t just drive the car for fun, but drives the car until he is sweating from the pure excitement of putting his whole soul into it. As far as goal driven Porsche collectors go, Magnus Walker has to be one of the most passionate on the planet.

Take a look at the three and a half minute video clip and see if it doesn’t get you searching for a way to start your own Porsche 911 collection. This clip is a trailer for a larger documentary, due to be released some time in the future.
