BMW has released a teaser image of the highly anticipated BMW Zagato concept ahead of making its world debut at Pebble Beach.

BMW will make its presence well known this week at the 2012 Pebble Beach Concours in California along with every major brand in the industry. BMW will bring the highly anticipated BMW Zagato as it will be making its world debut. This will be the second collaboration between the two companies and the concept car will be shown to the public for the first time later in the week.

BMW just released the first official image of the sports car and the darkened image gives us a good idea of the type of car BMW and Zagato have collaborated on. The concept that BMW will unveil later this week is a version of the Coupe concept that was displayed at the Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este in May, this one will be a roadster.

BMW will also bring the all-new 2013 BMW 7 Series that will be making its North American debut. Attendees will be treated to the BMW ALPINA B7 supersedan; a special car with its 540 horsepower and top speed of 194 mph. BMW will also be bringing the 650i Gran Coupe, and so we can help BMW celebrate, the all-new BMW M5 and M6 will be on hand for the 40th anniversary of the M.

As with some of the other automakers, BMW will have some vintage race cars on hand at the Monterey Motorsports Reunion. They will include the 1986 BMW-March GTP, the 1980 BMW M1 Procar as well as the 1975 BMW 3.5 CSL similar to the one that won the 1975 12-Hours of Sebring.

A first ever for North American auto enthusiasts, BMW will show the legendary M8 Prototype, which never made it to production. The BMW M1 that features a mid-engine design, was the first M supercar from 1979 and will also be on hand for the weekend festivities.

Details and images of the newest BMW Zagato collaboration will be made available closer to the weekend.
