The refreshed 2015 Mazda CX-5 takes home two awards from Kelly Blue Book.

Mazda CX-5 – A KBB Most Fun SUV
This year, the Mazda CX-5 was significantly refreshed as we detailed in our prior story. Kelly Blue Book (KBB) has recently named the 2015 Mazda CX-5 crossover one of the Top 10 Most Fun SUVs. This ranking includes such winners as the pricey Range Rover Sport and the insanely fast Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT. The rest of the crossover lineup includes Porsche, Mercedes, and BMW vehicles. In fact, the only other affordable crossover to earn a spot on this list besides the Mazda CX-5 was the new Jeep Renegade.

Commenting on the 2015 Mazda CX-5’s inclusion on the top 10 list of most fun SUVs, KBB said “Smaller and more affordable than most of the SUVs on this list, the CX-5 doesn't win you over with high horsepower and 0-60 numbers, but with eager handling in an SUV that's big enough to handle daily chores.”

Mazda CX-5 - A KBB 10 Best All-Wheel-Drive Vehicle Under $25,000
In addition to its inclusion on the most fun list, the folks at KBB also tapped the 2015 Mazda CX-5 to hold the number 10 spot on its 10 Best All-Wheel-Drive Vehicles Under $25,000 list. Given the amount of content required to make a vehicle that has all-wheel-drive and the space of a compact crossover, Mazda should be applauded for even being able to come close to that price point.

Speaking about the CX-5 and its placement on the list, KBB said, “Like most of the automaker's entries, the Mazda CX-5 compact SUV is among the most fun-to-drive, most stylish vehicles in its class. Optional all-wheel drive only adds to its abilities.”
