See why the 2016 Mazda CX-3 tops the competition in safety.

The results are just in, and the 2016 Mazda CX-3 has performed better on crash test results than its direct competitor the Honda HR-V. With a score of “Good” on the small frontal overlap test and all other crash tests, the Mazda CX-3 scored as high as possible in all passive crash safety systems. Thus, it earns the Top Safety Pick Plus designation from IIHS. The Honda could not match these results scoring only “Acceptable” on both side and front crash tests.
