Fox has "So You Think You Can Dance?" Now Hyundai has "So You Think You Can Drift?" and the top winner in the country drives away in a brand-new 3.8-liter 2015 Hyundai Genesis Ultimate.

The contest is being offered in conjunction with Skip Barber Racing. The contest is available to students who attend a High Performance Driving School program at the Skip Barber Racing School in one of the following locations:

  • Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca in Salinas, CA;
  • Lime Rock Park in Lakeville, CT; and,
  • Road Atlanta in Braselton, GA.

The 2014 Hyundai Time Attack Challenge is open only to legal residents of the United States and the District of Columbia who are at least 18 years old, have a valid driver's license, and attend a High Performance Driving School class at Skip Barber Racing School during the Contest Period, which runs through Sept. 30. It doesn't cost you anything to enter the contest but you do have to pony up to pay for the Skip Barber class.

One finalist will be named from each location. The three finalists will be eligible to receive a Finalist Prize and will be invited to compete for the Grand Prize at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca in Salinas, CA on November 1, 2014. The finalists, while driving a 2013 Hyundai Genesis Coupe 3.8, will also have one warm-up lap followed by two contest laps. The finalist who successfully completes the quickest Lap Time at the Final Event will be deemed the Grand Prize winner.

The grand prize winner walks away with the 2014 Genesis Coupe valued at $35,415. All three finalists will be flown into Monterey with a guest and given three nights' accommodation and get $500 spending cash.
