While the world is patiently waiting for all of the big debuts at today’s opening of the 2012 New York International Auto Show, the folks at BMW have quietly announced the pricing for a handful of new 2013 models, including the high performance M5, M6 Coupe, M6 Convertible and the new 6 Series Gran Coupe.

First off, the 2013 BMW 6 Series Gran Coupe will carry a starting price of $76,895 for the six cylinder 640i while the V8 powered 650i Gran Coupe will start at $87,395 with rear wheel drive and $90,395 for all wheel drive (all prices include the $895 destination charge). The 2013 640i is powered by a TwinPower turbocharged and direct-injected 3.0L inline six cylinder engine sending 315 horsepower and 330lb-ft of torque to the rear wheels based on the price above – although all wheel drive is available. The 2013 650i Gran Coupe, both in standard rear wheel drive and when equipped with the xDrive all wheel drive system, is powered by a TwinPower turbocharged and direct-injected 4.8L V8 that produces 445 horsepower. This innovative 4-door Gran Coupe will rocket from 0-62 miles per hour in just 4.5 seconds with the aid of the all wheel drive system and American buyers can expect to see these new models in showrooms later this summer.

Next in line, the American pricing for the awesome 2013 BMW M5. This high performance sedan is one of the best performing 4-door cars in the world thanks to a twin turbocharged 4.4L V8 making an incredible 560 horsepower and 500lb-ft of torque, helping the M5 hit 60mph in just 4.3 seconds. The 2013 M5 sedan will arrive in the late summer of 2012 with a starting price of $90,695. While $91k is nothing to laugh at, this is a great price for one of the most amazing sedans in the world.

The 2013 BMW M6 and M6 convertible are next in line of the freshly priced BMW performance models. Both the new M6 coupe and M6 convertible are powered by the same twin turbocharged 4.4L V8 packing 560hp and 500lb-ft of torque, with the hardtopped M6 starting at $106,995 while the open aired M6 starts at a hefty $113,995. The 2013 BMW M6 Convertible is expected to hit US shores around June while the M6 Coupe is expected to arrive sometime after the convertible, later this summer.

Last and certainly not least is the 2013 BMW X6M. This is a high performance vehicle that is really unlike anything else in the American market with a design that makes it tough to say for sure whether this is a roomy high riding car or a compact sport utility vehicle. In any case, this vehicle packs a twin turbocharged V8 that sends out 555 horsepower to the wheels and having that kind of power in a unique luxury crossover comes with a fairly hefty price – starting at $93,795.
