The Chrysler Group has once again successfully extended their trademark of the term Cuda, but I don’t believe that the latest filing should cause anyone to get their hopes up for a new high performance muscle car sporting the Cuda name – at least not anytime soon.

This past Friday, the Chrysler Group teased a few of the vehicles that they are bringing to SEMA and while we were enamored with the prospect of an all-wheel drive Dodge Challenger – there were also teasers of what appear to be the Chrysler 300, the Ram 1500 Rebel and a Fiat 500X which will join the AWD muscle car in the huge Mopar display.

I recently had a chance to spend a week driving the 2015 Chrysler 300C Platinum and in my opinion, this is the most underrated luxury sedan sold in America – with a stunning interior, Hemi power and a price around $45,000 when very well appointed making it more powerful, less expensive and just as swanky as the high priced European competitors.

The Chrysler Group has recalled around 1.4 million vehicles as a result of a problem with their vehicle software that may allow a hacker to access the control system, but poor reporting by most large media outlets have turned this problem from a simple fix for a questionably troublesome issue into what seems to many to be a massive risk to the general public.

The Chrysler Group has long been relatively quiet in the crucial American midsized sedan segment but with the 2015 Chrysler 200S – the smallest of the American automakers has car that is good enough in every way to compete with the very best in the massive segment.

Looking to and driving 2015 Chrysler 200 left us scratching our collective heads as to what penciled out to be an extreme purchase value in a very competitive segment. How could Chrysler dealers send the 200 out the door at under $20,000? And then we took a look at Chrysler’s Sterling, Michigan facility.

The Chrysler 300 was one of the models that helped to introduce the world to the Chrysler LX platform and while there weren’t as many of the big luxury sedans in the 2015 LX Spring Festival in Irvine, California, the Chrysler 300 owners had just as much to show off as those driving Dodge Challengers and Chargers.

I have been in the Car Business at a Large Ram Jeep Dodge Chrysler ( FCA ) Store for the past 13 years, and sales targets and objectives are mentioned on a daily basis. Who in the car business has not heard on a regular basis : “ Let's get these cars out for month end ! Got to hit our target.“

I recently had a chance to spend some time behind the wheel of the 2015 Chrysler 300S with the Hemi V8 and in addition to a lightly refreshed exterior, the 2015 model year brings a host of new features inside and out that help to make the “businessman’s muscle car” even better.

The 2015 Chrysler 300 is currently on display at the 2014 LA Auto Show with a revised exterior, an even more luxurious interior, a new 8-speed transmission, a variety of new high tech goodies and a new super-premium trimline, but what you won’t see in the 2015 300 lineup is a high performance SRT model – at least not in the United States, anyway.

The 2016 Nissan Titan Diesel, likely to unveil in Detroit this January, is aimed at a specific part of the pickup buying market and shows that Nissan is clearly targeting Chrysler's market share.

At the #Denver200 event, we talked with the lead engineer for the 2015 Chrysler 200, drove two models of the car, and were wined and dined in a historic mansion on Denver's south end. The new 200 is impressive, even without fancy drinks named Pentastar and TigerShark.

When the announcement was made to discontinue the SRT brand, it was reported by some that the 2015 Chrysler 300C would not get an SRT variant like the 2015 Dodge Charger and Dodge Challenger, but a new report from Allpar suggests that the highest performance Chrysler sedan will live on into the 2015 model year – just without the Hellcat Hemi.

The news surfaced last week that the Chrysler Group’s SRT division was being consolidated into the Dodge brand and with that came the news that the high performance SRT variant of the Chrysler 300C would be discontinued – a move that will most certainly sadden Mopar fans, but it won’t have much negative impact on the company going forward.

Not exactly known for electric vehicles, Chrysler plans to produce not one but two plug-in hybrids as part of their five-year plan revealed yesterday. It is a move driven primarily by regulations.

Chrysler's announcement that it will no longer produce the Dodge Caravan comes at an auspicious time for Kia as it gets set to roll out the 2015 Kia Sedona. One has to wonder why Chrysler is giving up on this market.

The official fuel economy figures for the 2015 Chrysler 200 have been announced and while they are still a touch lower than the real world figures I experienced while driving, the full spread of fuel economy numbers are good enough for the next generation 200 to rival the bestselling cars in the segment – including the Ford Fusion and the Toyota Camry.

The Chrysler Group hasn’t announced any fuel economy figures for the awesome new 2015 200 sedan, but the first official figures from the government have popped up on the FuelEconomy.gov website with numbers that I find to be surprisingly low after my time spent driving the new midsized sedan.

The 2015 Chrysler 200 will have a long list of features that will help it stand out in a very competitive midsized sedan segment, but the incredible drivetrain lineup is what will really help the next generation 200 blow away the competition.

When the 2015 Chrysler 200C was introduced earlier this year at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit, it was clear to pretty much everyone that this new midsized sedan looked the part of a major contender in the industry’s most popular segment but would the new 200 drive as great as it looks?
