Jeep Grand Cherokee L Drives Off With New Award

Jeep's three-row SUV is being honored with the 2022 MotorWeek Drivers’ Choice Award for Best Large Utility.

Good thing the all-new 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee L has a lot of cargo space because it is taking home another big award. MotorWeek is giving the Jeep Grand Cherokee L its Driver’s Choice award for Best Large Utility. The annual MotorWeek awards honor the best new cars and trucks every year.

“When you have something great, you want to share it with as many people as possible. That pretty much sums up our view of the 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee L, the first three-row Grand Cherokee,” said John Davis, host and creator of MotorWeek. “Now, growing Jeep families no longer have to look elsewhere for seven-passenger comfort. But, adding seats has not, in any way, compromised the go-anywhere capability that is the Jeep brand.”

MotorWeek singles out the 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee L for its exceptional customer experience, including “its increased interior capacity, next-generation safety features, premium on-road refinement, all-new luxurious interior that showcases modern, handcrafted materials and the most available technology features in its class.”

Jeep Grand Cherokee L

The three-row version of the Grand Cherokee debuted last summer. Jeep customers, for years, have asked for a larger version of the Grand Cherokee for families to grow into. Even though the Grand Cherokee L entered a popular segment, it has been incredibly well received. Mostly, customers are thrilled that the Grand Cherokee L maintains all of the 4x4 capability that the Grand Cherokee is known for.

The vehicle’s expanded wheelbase creates generous interior room and gives passengers class-leading legroom in the second row. Grand Cherokee L models deliver a combination of 4x4 capability, premium styling and craftsmanship, and an impressive lineup of advanced safety and technology features. The 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee L has already been updated adding even more technology than it debuted with.
