Why 2015 Subaru Impreza gets second most KBB awards of any car

When it comes to awards, the 2015 Subaru Impreza is stacking them up at Kelly Blue Book. How many awards has the compact car received?

Kelly Blue Book (KBB) has given the 2015 Subaru Impreza the second most awards of any car just behind the 2015 Honda Civic. KBB has been impressed with the all-wheel-drive compact and has given it seven awards since it made its launch a year ago. The Impreza was newly-revised for 2015 and didn’t get a total makeover, but the new compact model received styling revisions on the outside, drivetrain upgrades underneath and new technology on the inside.

KBB’s seven awards for the Impreza are Best Resale Value Award: Compact Car, Best Resale Value Award: Sporty Compact Car (WRX), 10 Best Back-to-School Cars, 10 Coolest Cars Under $18,000, 10 Tech-Savviest Cars Starting Under $20,000, 10 Best All-Wheel-Drive Vehicles Under $25,000 and 10 Best Sedans Under $25,000

What KBB says about Impreza

“The Subaru Impreza isn't just the most affordable all-wheel-drive car on the market, it also boasts a proven reputation for dependability and reliability. For shoppers seeking small-car value and all-weather traction, the Impreza belongs on every short list.”

KBB is a go-to website that helps new-car shoppers make more informed decisions before they buy that new car. Jack R. Nerad, executive editorial director and executive market analyst for Kelley Blue Book's KBB.com says, "Our experts drive and review nearly every new car on the road each year so we have a wealth of knowledge.”

KBB isn’t the only new-car site that has given the compact car awards. The new Impreza also made Edmunds 11 Best Used Cars for College Students list and recently made Autobytel’s 10 Most Reliable Used Sedans for 2015 list. The 2015 Subaru Impreza comes in sedan and hatchback body styles with standard all-wheel-drive and is a big hit with a younger generation of buyers with active lifestyles.

The all-wheel-drive 2015 Subaru Impreza has been touted for its all-weather capabilities, but it’s piling up awards because of its other key attributes like affordability, reliability, fuel efficiency and sporty character. Check out the 2015 Subaru Impreza 2.0i Sport Limited review here.
