Tuners are already getting into the 2015 Subaru WRX STI

The 2015 Subaru WRX STI is at the NYIAS and there is more than one variant than the production model at the show this year. Subaru of course brought the production 2015 WRX STI, Vermont Sportscar brought the 2015 Global RallyCross STI in full GRC supercar trim, and Ravspec brought a custom tuned variant WRX STI.

We don’t have much information on this new Ravspec 2015 WRX STI, but thanks to Fuji Heavy Industries (FHI), the parent company of Subaru, they gave as a glimpse of the tuned STI variant. Now we know the Subaru WRX STI is one of the most highly modified performance cars out there. And the 2015 STI will get more mods once a few tuners get their hands on the Rally-bred performance car.

Ravspec has already performed their tuning specialties on the STI. So who is Ravspec? Ravspec specializes in JDM wheel fitment, suspension, and performance upgrades and are located in Deer Park, NY. They set up a booth at the New York International Auto Show to show off their custom wheels, wheels accessories, suspension upgrades and aero kits.

Ravspec also had a display set up with a few of their cars including the new-generation 2015 Subaru WRX STI to showcase what can be done with a few performance parts. Somehow they got a 2015 WRX STI and performed their tuning specialties and brought the tuned car to the show.

We definitely like the look of their tuned and modified 2015 WRX STI and we’ve heard they also have a modified BRZ that they brought to New York. But the WRX STI looks awesome with the new wheels and lowered suspension upgrades. We don’t know if they performed any engine mods, but we sure would like to see under the Ravspec STI hood.

The Subaru WRX STI may be the most modified car on the planet. Tuners love to get their hands on the STI and give the performance sports car even more power. The all-new 2015 Subaru WRX STI will be no different and it’s already been touched by performance tuner Ravspec. We’ll try to get more info on the 2015 Ravspec STI.
