Nissan Gives 20 New Titan Trucks To Provide Hurricane Harvey Support

Twenty, 2017 Nissan Titan full-size pickups will be provided to support humanitarian relief organizations for Hurricane Harvey relief efforts. Here’s how customers can get help.

Like many other automakers, Nissan USA announced they will donate money, vehicles and give customer support to the Hurricane Harvey relief effort. The Japanese automaker announced twenty, 2017 Nissan Titan full-size pickups will be given to support humanitarian relief organizations across the Gulf Coast region for Hurricane Harvey relief efforts. The Titan trucks will be used for clean-up efforts and come with the Nissan Recovery Support livery.

Nissan USA will also donate $150,000 to the American Red Cross in support of relief efforts for victims of Hurricane Harvey. The companies announcement also said they will match employee donations to American Red Cross dollar-for-dollar up to $100,000.

The American Red Cross will be given the funds to provide food, shelter, relief supplies, emotional support, recovery planning and other assistance as well as supporting the vehicles, warehouses and people that make the disaster relief efforts possible.

Nissan customers get help

Nissan and Infiniti customers will also be given support during this time. Nissan Motor Acceptance Corporation (NMAC) and Infiniti Financial Services will reach out to consumers living in the FEMA-designated disaster areas to offer assistance through payment deferrals or customers can request payment extensions by contacting the company directly.

Look for 20 new 2017 Nissan Titan trucks with the Nissan Recovery Support livery being used for clean-up efforts following the massive disaster cause by Hurricane Harvey.
