How 2015 Subaru Crosstrek beats all the small crossover/SUV competition

The 2015 Subaru XV Crosstrek clinches first place in autos.ca subcompact crossover and SUV comparison. What eight top models did Crosstrek beat?

There are 4 desirable features on 2015 Subaru Crosstrek that provide a winning combination against all small crossover/SUVs on the market. According to autos.ca in Canada, the Subaru Crosstrek beats all the competition for a second year in a row. Autos.ca put eight small crossover/SUVs to a head-to-head test and Crosstrek beat them all with four desirable features that they say sets it apart from the competition.

The compact crossover/SUV segment is crowded and Autos.ca took eight that they could get their hands on that included the Chevrolet Trax, Fiat 500x, Honda HR-V, Hyundai Tucson, Jeep Renegade, Mazda CX-3, Mitsubishi RVR, Nissan Juke and Subaru XV Crosstrek. Why did they think the Crosstrek was the winner again?

They cited four desirable features that set the Subaru Crosstrek apart from the other eight small crossover/SUVs. The top two were Subaru’s symmetrical full-time All-Wheel Drive and Subaru Eyesight (advanced driver assist system) that is the industry leading safety system. The other two features the six Autos.ca journalists agreed were tops were the Crosstrek’s low sticker price and the best fuel economy of any of the competitors.

The recreation-purposed 2015 Subaru Crosstrek provided the winning combination and beat out newcomers in a segment that has more than doubled since Crosstrek was first crowned champion in 2013. Jonathan Yarkony of Autos.ca says, “The Crosstrek has few weaknesses, this is the return of the doing-all-things-well champ!” Check out what’s coming on the 2017 Subaru Crosstrek here.
