Goodyear Improves Delivery Vehicle Tires Three Ways With New RangeMax

Local delivery vehicles have become a big market in America. Amazon, UPS, Fedex, USPS, and a huge assortment of municipalities and tradespeople use these vehicles and rely on them for 24/7/365 uptime. Goodyear has just introduced two new RangeMax tires to meet the needs of this important market. "Our latest RangeMax tires combine low rolling resistance with enhanced features like premium casings and long-lasting tread compounds to help increase vehicle uptime and protect fleets' investment."

The RangeMax RSA ULT improves (reduces) rolling resistance by an impressive 10% compared to the Goodyear Fuel Max RSA ULT. This tire uses Intellimax Technology that helps stiffen the tread, increasing the tires usable miles before replacement. With uptime a priority, stretching tire replacement times is not just a money saver, but also a time saver for tire owners.

Goodyear’s new RangeMax RTD ULT utilizes a soybean oil tread compound that reduces petroleum use. This tire offers a Firm Grip on the road via a deep open-shoulder tread design that provides traction while still delivering long miles to removal.

What we like most about both of these tire offers is that they also earn the Three-Peak Mountain Snowflake (3PMSF) traction rating delivering enhanced traction and acceleration in winter weather conditions. That designation denotes that the tire is rated for severe snow duty, yet they can remain on the vehicle year-round. In snowy New England, this is a feature every shopper should consider.
