Infiniti releases Q50 teaser video upon reaching 1M Facebook fans

Infiniti has released a teaser video of the new Q50, set for debut at the upcoming North American International Auto Show in mid-January, after reaching 1 million fans on Facebook.

Today, Infiniti reached one million Facebook fans and in celebration of that milestone has released its promised teaser video for the all-new Infiniti Q50 sports sedan which will debut at NAIAS on January 14th.

The video doesn't reveal much, but it glimpses a sinister-looking headlamp (pictured) with a raptor-like appearance. It hints that the headlamp will be active, following the car's turn as many luxury vehicles' lights now do.

The unveiling of the Q50 luxury sports sedan promises to be a real show, with a press conference at NAIAS being followed by a performance from Cirque du Soleil. All of this will be broadcast to the world on a live broadcast through InfinitiUSA.com and on the luxury brand's Facebook site at Facebook.com/Infiniti. Those witnessing the unveil on the social network can comment via live chat through interactive text on the site.

Infiniti is undergoing several changes as the company moves its International Headquarters to Hong Kong (U.S. HQ is still in Nashville, Tennessee).

Back here in the U.S.A., of course, Nissan-Infiniti is emerging as one of the market's strongest auto sellers. Its Mississippi plant will be celebrating 10 years in 2013.

The all-new 2013 Infiniti Q50 promises to be a head-turner and is one of the highly-anticipated unveilings taking place at NAIAS in 2013.
