Nissan Titan Truckumentary #6 Released, Plus a Free Ringtone

In this latest installment of the Truckumentary series on the 2016 Nissan Titan XD, the company explores their new relationship with Cummins, maker of the diesel engine. This all-American pickup with best-in-class everything comes to showrooms this fall.

In this sixth chapter of the Titan Truckumentary, we see the relationship between Nissan and Cummins. It's their big V8 diesel that brings the Titan XD to life and the company, with its long history of engine building in the United States, is just a few hours up the freeway from Nissan's headquarters in Tennessee.

The video has many of the key players in the Titan XD's development, including experts from Nissan and engineers from Cummins, talking about the 5.0-liter V8 and its development for the Titan XD. Following the video is another video and a link to download a ringtone from Nissan.

In the video, we saw Diesel Goodness with Aaron Clement, the powertrain engineer at Nissan for the Titan. He talked about diesel and why it was the right choice for the new Titan. Rich Miller, director of product planning for the Titan, also chimes in on the subject. Several people from Cummins come in talking about the ideal of the diesel engine and the goodness that comes with overbuilding it for the Titan.

Trailering, towing, and hauling are discussed for the diesel engine as a whole.
