They will be meeting in Beverly Hills, California and start driving in a northern direction up the coast. This northern route along the west coast is a very popular drive for many residents of California, as well as for tourists, and the Porsche Travel Club makes it a celebration of its own.

With so many popular destinations to stop at and visit, The Porsche Travel Club drivers and guests are afforded an adventure of a lifetime. The club members will be able to enjoy the famous California rocky cliffs and famous hairpin turns of Highway 1, exclusive restaurants for fine dining, great historic attractions and much more.

The Porsche Travel Club’s drivers and guests also enjoy each other’s company as they all have the similar passion for the Porsche brand. The trip concludes in beautiful Monterey where the members get VIP access to the Rennsport Reunion IV Celebration Weekend.

The Porsche Travel Club trip arrival is on October 12, 2011 and departure is on October 17, 2011. The cost for the trip involves a driver tuition of $7,495, a passenger (double-occupancy) tuition of $5,995 and an optional damage waiver of $500.

For this price, the Porsche Travel Club provides a Porsche sport driving school instructor, luxury accommodations for five (5) nights at up-scale hotel properties, use of Porsche 911 and Porsche Boxster sports cars, fuel and any maintenance required for the vehicles, VIP access to the Rennsport Reunion IV weekend, a $250 food stipend for weekend and entrance tickets to attractions, special gifts, sedan transfers from LAX Airport to hotel, and sedan transfers from Monterey Plaza Hotel to Monterey Airport.

The trip is very carefully planned out with a full and exciting itinerary. Day one of the trip begins in Beverly Hills when Porsche Travel Club drivers and their guests arrive in Los Angeles at the LAX airport. Day two takes the drivers through Santa Barbara & San Luis Obispo. Day three goes through Hearst Castle, Big Sur, and Monterey. Day four bring the drivers to Monterey & the Rennsport Reunion IV with a short drive to nearby Salinas and VIP Access to Rennsport Reunion IV at the Laguna-Seca Raceway. Day five take the drivers to Monterey & the Porsche RaceCar Classic, with a short drive to nearby Carmel and VIP access to the Porsche Race Car Classic at the Quail Lodge Resort and Golf Club with a farewell dinner in Monterey. Lastly, day six is for departures.

Trevor Bleedorn, Experiential driving events manager shared this statement: “There are many reasons we organized this program in the United States. One reason is the Rennsport Reunion IV gave us a nice destination to finish and round out our trip. We feel this is a good opportunity to capitalize on the large demand of Porsche enthusiasts to be able to come out to Monterey. We believe there is a great interest from Porsche customers to drive a Porsche on US Highway 1 up the coast. This is why we have our customers fly into Los Angeles.” Bleedorn continued, “We are lucky that Porsche AG in Germany has been organizing Porsche Travel Club trips for 15 years now, so we have a nice model to follow of what they do. We are excited to host the customers and feel we are giving them a nice value for their money. We are confident that we will give them a fun time.”
