Kistler, a global supplier of precision sensors, systems and instrumentation for the dynamic measurement of pressure, force, torque and acceleration for automotive clients, today announced from its North American headquarters (pictured) in Novi, Mich., the official opening of its latest group company, Kistler Instruments, a sales support and service facility in Monterrey, Mexico. It also will be known as Kistler Mexico.

Established "in response to unprecedented customer demand for company product technologies within the local marketplace," according to a statement from the Swiss cmpany, Kistler Mexico will serve the needs of the many manufacturing plants located in northern areas of the country, while further supporting the activities of its well-established and highly active Mexican sales representative network.

The new facility will offer a range of Kistler product technologies for engine development, vehicle dynamics and durability, crash test, manufacturing and assembly process control, plastics injection molding, biomechanics and road and rail weigh-in-motion requirements.

“We are pleased to announce the official establishment of our new group company presence in Mexico. The new Kistler facility will ensure that our valued customers within the United States, Canada and Europe, many of which have further operations in Mexico, can expect the same high levels of Kistler product quality and service for their key assembly and test systems, further supporting critical local manufacturing needs," said Nick Wilks, Kistler North America managing director.
