If you have been holding off on ordering your 2015 Corvette Z06 until the normal build page was live on Chevrolet.com, your wait is over as the full configurator tool has been added to the website with a full list of options and prices.

Back in September, General Motors rolled out the unique build page for the 2015 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 and while that was a fun little toy, it didn’t offer the normal configurator tools that we need to accurately price out the new Corvette. It was a cool website with the ability to equip the wheels, package, exterior color and other features on a Corvette that appeared atop the page – allowing you to see the car in stunning high resolution. The problem was that this didn’t include a full list of options, packages, or the prices for each additional feature of the new Corvette Z06.

For a very long time, the Corvette Z06 mini-site was the closest thing to a configurator for the new super-C7, but the normal build page layout is now live for the most track capable Corvette of all time.

Building Your Dream Z06
There is a good chance that the 2015 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 is the dream car of a great many people reading this piece. Unfortunately, many of those people dreaming of owning one will ever actually have the chance to buy one, but we all love playing with configurator tools – allowing us to set goals for someday off in the future.

The first step when building your 2015 Corvette Z06 online is picking between the coupe and the convertible. The Z06 coupe starts at $79,995 while the drop-top starts at $83,995. When you select the coupe, you are then given the options of 1LZ, 2LZ and 3LZ, with prices of $79,995, $83,265 and $88,645, respectively. When you pick the Chevrolet Corvette Z06 convertible, the prices for the various trim levels all increase by $4,000, but prices for options remain the same for everything else.

Interior, Exterior, Wheel Colors
If you pick the C7 Corvette Z06 1LZ, the “base model” includes your choice of six “free” colors (Black, White, Torch Red, Blade Silver, Shark Gray and Night Race Blue) and three interior choices (gray, black and red). If you want your Corvette Z06 to be Daytona Sunrise Orange, it will add $495 to the price while Laguna Blue, Velocity Yellow and Crystal Red all add $995 to the final price. The color choice page also has the Z06 wheels in painted nickel, but you can get those same wheels in black, gray or chrome for addition charges of $495, $595 and $1,995, respectively.

The Z06 3LZ has all of the same interior, exterior and wheel options, but the 3LZ can also get a blue Nappa leather seats.

Options for the 2015 Corvette Z06
Considering that the 2015 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 comes so well appointed, there is a surprisingly long list of optional features – although a great many of them are aesthetic upgrades.

In terms of functional items, options for the 2015 Corvette Z06 include the Z07 package ($7,995), the 8-speed automatic transmission ($1,725), the Performance Data Recorder ($1,795) and the Competition Sport Seats ($2,495). "any of those people dreaming of owning one will ever actually have the chance to buy one"

stupid ass comment there.

the Z06 is the "poor mans" supercar for a reason when these are out for a few years they will be close to 60K/50K with a base price of 79K thats not bad, and for someone who works hard this is achievable, in fact any one can eventually get this if you work / save for it. its not like the Viper which currently running 140K (until someone enforces the price drop) or a ferrari which for many will never be achievable.
