"MBUSA has a long tradition of corporate citizenship here in the Garden State and we thank our associates for their dedication that has led to continued success here at our national headquarters in Montvale and our regional offices in Parsippany and Robbinsville," said Stephen Cannon, president and CEO, MBUSA. "To continue to receive this recognition in a recovering economy is a true statement of how we are driven to deliver exceptional customer experience to our many customers here in New Jersey and across the country."
The Best Places to Work in New Jersey program names 100 companies divided by size. Fifty-two are small to medium-sized companies employing from 15 to 249 workers. The other 48 are large companies with over 250 employees.
To qualify, companies had to have no less than 15 employees in state as a commercial, nonprofit or government concern with, most importantly, at least one facility in New Jersey.
Companies all over the state completed a two-stage process to be considered for the 100 Best Places to Work in New Jersey. The initial qualifier is an evaluation of each company’s in-house policies, practices, philosophy, systems and demographics, constituting 25 percent of their score.
The second phase conducted an actual employee survey to collect empirical feedback. A full 75 percent of the company’s score is determined by this process. The totals thus arrived at revealed the top companies in the final ranking.
