The 2024 Jeep Wagoneer's Latest Award Should Make Parents Happy

See why the 2024 Jeep Wagoneer is being singled out as a great family vehicle.

The 2024 Jeep Wagoneer is winning accolades from Parents.com. The eight-passenger vehicle is being praised for having the Best Rear Seat Entertainment in its awards for PARENTS Best Family Cars 2024. Parents has been a leading source of information for families for nearly 100 years. Every year the website reviews more than 100 vehicles of every shape and size to help families determine what vehicle best suits their needs.

Here is what Parents.com had to say about the Jeep Wagoneer

Key Details: The Wagoneer (and Grand Wagoneer) may be considered the limo for families purely for all the screens and screen-based controls. Drawing on the system created for the Chrysler Pacifica, Jeep added more features to pamper rear seat passengers.

Family Friendliness: In addition to the available climate control screen in the center row, 10” seat back screens can stream from a phone, a gaming unit or built-in Amazon Fire programming. Wireless headsets allow viewers in center or third rows to listen, and all of it can be controlled from the front seat.

Wow Factor: While the rear seat has great entertainment screens, the front seat passenger isn’t left out; a screen built into the dashboard allows streaming as well as control of the rear seat system.

Parents.com Also Honored the 2024 Chrysler Pacifica Minivan

Chrysler created the minivan segment forty years ago and the Chrysler Pacifica continues to innovate in the family hauler. Chrysler has the only plug-in hybrid in the minivan market and the brand’s exclusive Stow ‘n Go seating gives the minivan incredible room for passengers and cargo.

What Parents.com Says About the Pacifica Minivan

Key Details: This is the minivan that has it all: Choice of front or all wheel drive, gas-powered or plug-in hybrid, and a wide variety of trims so families can go as pared-down or posh as they like. And even the top end Pinnacle, with pinstriped leather seating and all the goodies, isn’t a total budget-buster at $60,000.

Family Friendliness: The Pacifica carries some of the best family technology on the market, including Chrysler’s Fam Cam rear cabin view system, top notch rear seat entertainment and a built-in vacuum cleaner.

Wow Factor: This is the most stylish minivan ever, with a look and feel that’s at home on both the soccer field and a 5-star valet.

Parents.com Applauds Rear Seat Technology

Parents.com is particularly impressed with the Rear-seat monitoring cameras for both Chrysler Pacifica, Jeep Wagoneer and the Jeep Grand Cherokee.

Key Details: Borrowing from Chrysler’s Fam Cam system, and adding to it, parent company Stellantis has added this system to its other family cars, including the Jeep Grand Cherokee, Jeep Wagoneer, and Grand Wagoneer. Front seat users can monitor and communicate with passengers in the center and third rows via a camera and microphone/speaker system.

Family Friendliness: This is a fantastic alternative to mirrors and yelling to speak to kids in their car seats, and even has a low light function so you can see passengers at night to know if they are sleeping. Kids in rear-facing car seats or the third row will find it comforting too, since the speaker and mic system make it easier for them to be heard in the front seat.

Wow Factor: You don’t have to buy a minivan to get this great family feature; we love that Stellantis recognizes this.
