Jaguar Gives Customers the Chance to Compare the XE to Competitors

When it comes to buying a vehicle, one of more difficult things is keeping track of your thoughts on one and comparing to another. Wouldn't it be nice to have the key competitors to the vehicle you're looking at to make this easier?

Jaguar is doing just that for customers interested in Great Britain. According to Autocar, the British automaker will be allowing potential customers of the XE to compare it with three of its key rivals: Audi A4, BMW 3-Series, and Mercedes-Benz C-Class.

“Our offer is simple: if you are interested in test driving a Jaguar XE but are uncertain about how it will compare against its key rivals, then contact your local Jaguar retailer and arrange your own personal group test,” Jaguar Land Rover UK’s managing director, Jeremy Hicks told Autocar.

There are some caveats to this program. Not all Jaguar dealers will have all of the rivals for customers to drive due to availability issues. Also, Jaguar is only doing this the first weekend of September.

But it is an interesting ploy by Jaguar to get customers into the showroom and hopefully get them into an XE. Maybe if this is successful in Britain, they could do a similar program for the U.S.
