World’s First Cybertruck - Customized With Tank-Like Treads - Won't Get Stuck In the Mud Or Snow - And Is Crazier Than You think!

The most customized version of the Cybertruck was revealed recently, driving in the snow. It drives on tank-like treads, moving slower than a normal Cybertruck, and has a bunch of lights added to it.

Customized Cybertruck "On Tracks" Uses Tank Like Treads

A customized version of the Cybertruck was shown recently, driving in the snow, with a pair of tank-like treads. This version of the Cybertruck isn't going to get stuck in the snow or mud and is the craziest customization I've seen so far.

This Cybertruck was picked up from a "Supercar_Ron" by HeavyDSparks who has a bunch of other vehicles that he has customized.

He calls the Cybertruck a spaceship on the road, and it is fun to drive around. He says that the Cybertruck uses too much energy, and you have to keep it charged.

He also says the Cybertruck was missing parts of the wheels - the covers for the tire bolts, and tires, and that the body lines are not aligned or impressive.

Adding the Tracks

The Tesla key was given to HeavyDSparks and said that putting the tracks and other things on is going to be a gradual escalation of things. The Cybertruck has more appeal in person, and says that the stainless steel of the Cybertruck is very difficult to work with, calling it a genius move by Tesla. He says that doing straight lines without bending it makes it easier, though.

Lights and tracks were put on the Cybertruck, and then it was taken out to be tested. It was driving in the snow, and then they ran into their first issue. The upper control arm folded like a piece of paper. HeavyDSparks believed they can fix this and beef it up so that won't happen.

Once this fix was put in place, the Cybertruck was taken out again in the snow for testing. The suspension felt much stronger. The new control arms and shocks added to the front end seemed to allow the customized Cybertruck, with its treads, to drive in the snow with ease.

There were some big lights put on the front and top of it, allowing it to illuminate its surroundings.

The rear steer tire rod bolt that holds the tire rods to the steering rack broke in half. It makes the track point in the wrong direction. This needed to be fixed, so the customized Cybertruck was brought back for repairs.

For test day #3, the Cybertruck was once again driving in the snow. However, the entire spindle snapped while driving, causing the tread at the top left to completely buckle. After that, they needed to figure out how to park it and get it a new spindle.

This Cybertruck is a Foundation Series Cybertruck and SupercarRon said HeavyDSparks could do whatever customizations he wanted to for it.

Many parts were removed for the customizations, and it was wrapped in a snow/camouflage digital pattern.

What do you think about this customized Cybertruck with treads?
