Tesla Cybertruck: Inside Dimensions Finally Revealed - Back Seats, Truck Bed: Here's How To Know If You Can Sleep In It

The measurements of the inside of the Cybertruck have finally been done. This is a good way to know if you will be able to sleep in it.

Measurements Inside the Tesla Cybertruck

There is finally a video of the measurements of the Cybertruck - inside of it, along with everything outside, and this is able to answer a question many people have - can you sleep inside the Cybertruck. I'm 6'4'', so these measurements are very helpful for me to answer that question.

Kim Java did some measurements on the Cybertruck with a tape measure, and here's what she found.

The Cybertruck has a measurement of about 74 inches wide.

The measurement from top of the windshield to end of the front of the car is 63 inches.

In the second row in the back, there are 11 inches of knee room (between the seat in front and the front of the seat in back) for the side seats.

There is a lot of headroom in the back. There is a sharp angle in the back, which makes it seem like there isn't headroom. Kim measured from the bottom of the seat to the glass roof, and it's 37 inches - about 3 feet for your upper body.

The legroom for whoever sits in the middle of the back seat is about 8.5 inches from the seat to the center screen in the back. That's 2.5 inches less than the other seats.

Across each side seat in the back, there is about 18.5 inches. The center seat is 16 inches from seam to seam.

Can You Sleep In It?

In the bed of the truck, Kim climbed in and did some measurements. She was able to lay in all the way, but she is less than 6 feet tall - she's 5'5'' tall, and fits almost exactly in the back.

If you are more than 5'5'' tall, sleeping in the back bed will be difficult.

Underneath in the storage compartment beneath the bed, it's 11 inches deep and 33 inches across, as well as 17.5 inches from front to rear.

Kim then went into the front of the Cybertruck and did some measuring of the glove box, which functions as a drawer. It is 7.5 inches deep and almost 17 inches wide.

The bottom compartment is about 11 inches across, but is separated into compartments.

She measured the Cybertruck with the tonneau cover closed, and it was just under 20 inches from top to bottom of the tonneau cover, right at the end of the truck bed. There is a slant, so there is a little more room deeper in the truck bed.

She crawled inside and measure right at the front of the bed, and it was 28.5 inches at the largest opening in the back with the tonneau cover down.

Closing the truck bed is a soft close - you latch it and the Cybertruck seals it in and does the rest.

I won't be able to sleep in the Cybertruck - not without some kind of camping add-on to extend the back - or if somehow the back seats can be made level, then I might be able to do it by extending a bed into the back seats...
