Tesla Cybertruck Is Coming To China - Halo Effect For All Tesla Vehicles - But It Will Need to be Produced In a Different Form

The Tesla Cybertruck is coming to China and will provide a halo effect for all Tesla vehicles. However, in order to produce it, they will need to change its form.

Tesla Cybertruck coming to China

Tesla did a livestream tonight on WeChat in China to talk about the Cybertruck ahead of their national tour in 8 different locations. Behind the man and woman in this picture are 3 Cybertrucks.

Elon Musk revealed a plan of how he will take the Cybertruck to China. This plan is complicated, but it is a plan. X user, ray4Tesla said that the Cybertruck is coming to China as a store display.

Elon Musk said:

Getting Cybertruck road legal in China would be very difficult, but we could ship some prototypes over for display.

The Cybertruck will also be difficult to get in Europe due to the edges of it. Tesla will show the Cybertruck to the Chinese market, however, overcoming regulatory hurdles will be more difficult than bringing it for show.

Many in China are going to want to see the Cybertruck in the store displays. Elon Musk has hinted that Tesla will send some prototypes as a display.

The displays will generate enough excitement and provide a halo effect for all Tesla's vehicles. This simply means that as someone sees the Cybertruck, they will research Tesla and see that there are other vehicles available.

Will Tesla Have To Change How the Cybertruck Is Made?

What will Tesla need to change about the Cybertruck in order to sell it in the Chinese market? Tesla will need to make it a little smaller and change its form factor somewhat.

The issue comes in the edges that are considered dangerous, and the challenge with making the Cybertruck different from that is the stainless steel exoskeleton that is made in sheets.

Having a rounded edge Cybertruck will be more difficult, however, there could be a process that shaves off the sharper edges even more.

If Tesla makes a smaller Cybertruck that is road legal in China, it's going to sell very well, in my opinion.

The concerns of the Cybertruck are that the exoskeleton is very strong and not rounded at the front. Tesla should not use any different material, however, as this is one thing that makes the Cybertruck unique.

However, Tesla is likely to have the same "active hood" safety feature for its other cars for the Cybertruck. This may alleviate concerns over safety.

The Cybertruck may end up being a slightly modified Model Y with a steel exoskeleton and a smaller truck bed.

At this time, that's all we know about the Cybertruck coming to China - it remains unclear when or how Tesla will produce the Cybertruck outside the U.S., but it would still be a good thing for Tesla to do if it can find a way.
