It's the Lives Saved That You Won't Hear About That Makes Tesla FSD Special

Tesla's FSD is special, and the reason is all the lives that will be saved that you don't hear about.

It's the Lives Saved That You Won't Hear About...

In a recent FSD version 12 video released by Whole Mars Catalog, he is driving on FSD 12 in his Model S when he comes to a crosswalk. All of a sudden, a woman with her dogs starts crossing. In the video, FSD saw the woman and her dogs before I did.

She safely went across the crosswalk and all was normal - nothing out of the ordinary - except, this is out of the ordinary. This is a CAR that is recognizing PEOPLE and their intent.

A human driver could not have been paying attention here and kept going, and you would have heard about an accident with a woman and her two dogs at a crosswalk.

Except, you didn't hear about the accident with a woman and her two dogs at a crosswalk. FSD prevented that scenario from happening.

FSD is going to save numerous lives, and they will not be talked about in the news or seen on TV. They will just be people that lived instead of dying because FSD saw the situation and prevented an accident.

As more and more robotaxis get on the street, more and more lives are going to be saved. At some point in the future, it's going to be a crime NOT to use FSD. You will be mandated to have autonomy on your car, or you cannot drive it.

The latest reports of FSD version 12 are astonishing and show a smooth and fluid driving experience.

How Many Lives Saved?

Just how many lives will be saved by FSD and vehicles with autonomous software that are always paying attention? The latest data that I see, says 1.35 million people per year die in a road accident.

That ends up being about one person every 24 seconds dying in a road accident. This is very sad and unfortunate. This is also the leading cause of death among young people ages 15 to 29 years old.

Will all 1.35 million people dying per year be saved if every vehicle had FSD and was autonomous? I think at some point in the distant future, 99% of these people will end up being alive.

What would be unfortunate is that if there was an accident with FSD and FSD was found to be at fault, was the technology getting scrapped and never used when in reality, it would save over a million people's lives each year by being used.

Tesla has its work cut out for it. I don't think Tesla can make the software ever do harm to a human or cause an accident, or the blowback is going to be severe.

As more and more people use FSD and enable it, this is bound to happen. My hope is that people will see the numerous lives saved that aren't talked about. This is life-saving technology that every car needs to have.
