Best of Mechanic Problems and Their Mechanical Nightmares

If the actor Clint Eastwood ever played the role of a mechanic, you can imagine a scene in which he would paraphrase the immortal line “A man’s got to know his limitations” with the addition of “…as a mechanic.” Here’s a compilation of the best of mechanic problems and their mechanical nightmares to carry the point of nearly unbelievable car fails of car owners (and some mechanics).

Time for Some 4th of July Weekend Fun

If there is anything as American as the 4th of July celebration, it’s Drive-In theatres and that of binge-watching movies for those of us who like to remember those old cars from back in the day and the plot lines they supported. I’m talking about “American Graffiti”, “Gumball Rally”, “Smokey and the Bandit”, The French Connection”, “Bonnie and Clyde”, and my favorite: “Dirty Mary Crazy Larry” just to name a few.

And, let’s not forget some Clint Eastwood movies where many a car was left in as bad of shape and running condition as some garage nightmares mechanics come across every day that just barely make it as they roll into the garage bay.

A Customer States Compilation

That’s the theme of this article with a very enjoyable Customer States Compilation from the Mechanical Nightmare YouTube channel showcasing the best of mechanic problems and mechanical nightmares mechanics have to face every day that will leave you scratching your head and thinking “What the hell was the car owner thinking?!” As well as a few major goofs on the part of some mechanics who need to know their limitations as well.

That said, to start the fun let’s take a quick look at a reminder clip from Dirty Harry in “Magnum Force” to set the tone and then move onto the compilation of clips of garage fails that shows---amongst many other things---why you should not put your lug nuts on the wrong way!
