Why special edition 2016 Subaru Forester will make off-road recreation more fun

A new base special edition version of the 2016 Subaru Forester gets a number of luxury upgrades. What does an extra $2000 get you?

Add in an extra $2000 to the entry-level 2016 Forester, and consumers down under can get a number of extra luxury features on the small SUV making weekdays and weekends more fun. Subaru Australia has just launched a special edition Forester 2.5i-L variant that adds upgrades to the base model.

Forester is the top seller in Australia just like it is in the U.S. market. Now the entry-level 2.5i-L gets extra features adding value to the multi award-winning Sports Utility Vehicle. Here’s what consumers can get for an extra $2000.

Special edition Forester features

Aussie buyers get these extra enhancements over the standard Forester 2.5i-L. Outside it comes with 17-inch high luster alloy wheels, heated door mirrors, rain sensing front windscreen wipers and front wiper de-icer. Inside the special edition model gets heated leather front seats with perforated inserts, leather seats in back, a powered driver’s seat and push button start and keyless entry.

Forester pounds the competition

When we think of Australia and Subaru, we think of the Outback, but Forester leads the way down under in sales and popularity. Just like U.S. owners, they use the recreation-purposed SUV for off-road activities. Last year, Forester was rated first among 10 compact Sports Utility Vehicles in a mega-comparison test published in the July edition of 4x4 Australia magazine. It picked up the award for being the “Top Compact SUV.”

Forester features a unique Boxer engine that sits low in the chassis and gives the small SUV superior weight balance and maneuverability both on-and-off-road. The boxer engine design is one of the key factors in what sets Forester apart from other small SUV’s. Forester was redesigned from the ground up in 2014 to take advantage of that potential in the engine design.

Australians can add extra luxury when they go off-road with the new special edition 2016 Subaru Forester 2.5i-L. This base recreation-purposed Forester will bring extra enjoyment to Aussies on-and-off-road.

So basically, your article is useless no matter how you twisted. It could be reduced to this phrase:

"Aussie buyers get 17-inch high luster alloy wheels, heated door mirrors, rain sensing front windscreen wipers and front wiper de-icer. Inside the special edition model gets heated leather front seats with perforated inserts, leather seats in back, a powered driver’s seat and push button start and keyless entry."

More or less, it's a Premium trim in US.
