Consumers in Russia are a lot like their American counterparts and use their Foresters for getting away from civilization. Forester is the perfect vehicle to do it and comes with X-Mode for extreme off-roading. Most SUV owners never take their vehicle off-road, and they use it to transport kids to the soccer game and use it as a grocery hauler. That’s not many Forester owners though. This special model is geared toward those who can’t wait to get away from the city. What sets this Forester apart?

Subaru Forester Active Edition

Subaru created the 2016 Forester Active Edition especially for Russian customers with active lifestyles. Subaru added unique elements to the interior and exterior of the models for those who will use the SUV beyond the daily commute and take it for weekend excursions. Outside, Forester gets dark silver 17-inch cast aluminum wheels which are only available on this model.

Inside, Active Edition gets seats that are upholstered with a special fabric with water-repellent properties and the luggage compartment has a water-resistant coating. This is ideal for those who will be involved in outdoor activities like water sports, hiking, mountain biking, kayaking where they need to carry sports equipment. The Forester Active Edition also comes with a power rear liftgate for easy loading of gear.

Bright orange stitching throughout the cabin also sets this model apart from the standard model along with carbon trim. The 2016 Subaru Forester Active Edition is available in four exterior colors: Quartz Blue Pearl, Crystal White Pearl, Venetian Red Pearl and Crystal Black Silica.
