There are two primary reasons why the sales of Subaru BRZ are lagging.

Lacking a real kick in power. Everyone has a dream for this car ...with either a Supercharger or a Turbo.

But more importantly, sales are lagging because there are not many of them in the dealer's lots. Most dealership I have visited only have one or two cars and not the color I want. If you want one, in your preferred color, then most likely you will need to order it. A process that most likely could take 6-8 weeks.

It would be easier to walk into another dealership and buy a different sports car - off the lot - that has more "powerful" and is cheaper. And it seems many are doing that. But I'm not one of them...

Try buying a STi Impreza, most dealers are sold out, new orders have been awaiting next year's allocation. They are just not building enough of them.

Still no turbo, still not interested. There are a lot faster and better handling sports cars for the money. I love Subaru but, come on. Give us something good.
