2013 Hyundai Genesis Coupe smokes the competition
Hyundai is sending their deepest sympathy to the competition for beating them in a recent track test conducted by AMCI Testing. The 2013 Hyundai Genesis Coupe went up against the Chevy Camaro, Dodge Challenger, Ford Mustang and Infiniti G37 and came out on top in four major categories on the track. The test was conducted and certified by AMCI Testing at its 1.2-mile Proving Ground Road Course. The four track tests conducted were cornering, handling, 0-60 tests on dry pavement and slalom and 180 corner completed with ESC off.
The test was conducted with the 2013 Hyundai Genesis Coupe, 3.8 Track vs. 2012 Chevrolet Camaro 2LT Coupe RS V6, 2012 Dodge Challenger SXT Plus SS/T V6, 2013 Ford Mustang V6 Coupe Premium Club America and 2012 Infiniti G37 Sport V6. AMCI Testing is used by numerous automotive brands around the globe to officially substantiate their product claims. The investigative company has been doing automotive testing for nearly 30 years.

The 2012 Audi S5 quattro Coupe was also tested against the 2013 Hyundai Genesis Coupe, but Hyundai didn’t post the results. Our guess is that the Audi S5 smoked most, if not all of the competition. But the results by AMCI are impressive and you have to give serious consideration to what the South Korean automaker is doing.
Hyundai sent a card to their biggest Japanese rival Infiniti. The cars says, “Dear Infiniti G37, Our deepest sympathy...May you recover with renewed speed. Sincerely, Genesis Coupe.” The 2013 Hyundai Genesis Coupe may have just started a battle with Infiniti. Stay tuned.
