2023 Nissan Altima Gets 3 Big Changes This Year - Images

The Nissan Altima gets a makeover for the new model year. Here are the changes shoppers need to know about.

Nissan’s Altima is a perennial top choice by shoppers who want a “right-sized” sedan. The addition of optional all-wheel drive only enhanced an already great package. For 2023, Nissan is making substantive changes to the Altima that will help ensure its appeal among buyers.

2023 Nissan Altima Change One - Styling
The 2023 Nissan Altima will have a fresh new look for 2023. The most obvious feature of the 2023 Altima re-style is a new front fascia, with an updated version of Nissan’s V-Motion grille. This new look offers a distinctively sporty design and Nissan shows off the redesigned brand logo. The popular SR trim receives a special “black chrome” grille finish along with a novel grille design that differentiates it from the other grades. Other key exterior elements include the now-standard LED headlights, integrated turn signals in the daytime running lights, expressive, identifiable taillight design, and available single panel moonroof.

Inside, a revised instrument panel and a new dual-stitch interior fabric design for SR models moves the Altima upscale a bit. Gray Sky Pearl and Garnett Pearl Metallic colors join the previously available exterior color options.

Among the interior enhancements for the 2023 Nissan Altima are the additions of a new 12.3-inch HD color display with multi-touch control, Nissan Door-to-Door Navigation system, Android Auto, wireless Apple CarPlay, wireless phone charging pad, and WiFi hotspot, all standard on Altima SL and SR VC-Turbo grades and available on SV.

A new 12.3-inch display, the same size as found in the premium Nissan Armada full-size SUV, replaces the outgoing smaller 8.0-inch display and features a higher resolution to provide clear images and crisp graphics.

2023 Nissan Altima Change Three - Expanded Active Safety Systems

For the 2023 model year, Altima continues to lead the way in its segment with regard to safety. Nissan’s advanced ProPILOT Assist2 system is now standard on Altima SL and SR VC-Turbo and optional on SV.
