Part 2 of the Nissan Titan Truckumentary Released

The second part of Nissan's "Truckumentary" series showcasing the making of the all-new Nissan Titan pickup truck, set to unveil in Detroit next week. This segment focuses on the chief specialist behind the new Titan's design.

In this latest Truckumentary episode about the new 2016 Nissan Titan, the focus is on the truck's design and durability testing. Rich Miller, Director of Product Planning and TITAN Chief Product Specialist guides us through this second installment in the series, titled The Quarterback.

This documentary shows the history of the people behind the new Titan and its design as well as its rigorous durability testing. Miller himself comes from a ranching family and "was driven home from the hospital after I was born in a truck." The video shows how the design team approached the look for the new Titan, breakthrough features that are worth noting on the new-generation Nissan Titan, and more.

The video runs about four and a half minutes and has a lot more information on the Titan than we've seen to-date. Miller was on the original Titan's design and testing team and carries that through in his leadership position now.

The all-new 2016 Nissan Titan will unveil in Detroit on Monday morning, of course, and Torque News will be there. The truck was designed in California, engineered in Michigan, tested in Arizona, and will be built in Mississippi using engines from Indiana and Tennessee. All eyes will be on the Titan Diesel, marking a new chapter in not just the Titan, but also in half-ton pickup trucks as a market.
