Maserati exec jumps to Rolls-Royce

Rolls-Royce Motor Cars plucked an executive from Maserati to add to its communications team today, naming Ruth Hucklenbroich corporate communications manager for Germany. She reports to Richard Carter, director of global communications.

Hucklenbroich joins Rolls-Royce with a strong background promoting luxury cars. She spent five years as spokeswoman and corporate communications manager for Maserati and was a public-relations manager for DaimlerChrysler before that. Rolls has big plans for her.

"Ruth joins Rolls-Royce at an exciting time for the company, in the centenary year of the Spirit of Ecstasy and following the recent launch of the Phantom Experimental Electric, 102EX," Carter said.

“We have recently announced a record global sales result for the first half of the year and we are delighted that Germany is one of many regions to show strong and sustained growth. Her expertise will be invaluable; she is the perfect fit for Rolls-Royce and I am delighted to welcome her to the team.”

Frank Tiemann, corporate communications Europe, will now focus on all European countries, excluding Germany.
