Need for Speed: The Run to feature Aventador, Camaro ZL1 in Limited Edition

A few months back we brought you the first look at the newest installation in the Need for Speed racing series with the first teaser of “The Run” but that only gave gamers a rundown of what to expect. This new video includes a nice spread of actual gameplay footage showing incredible graphics and thrilling door to door racing across the country but for those racers who want an advantage, EA is offering a limited edition version of the game that hands you the keys to a virtual Lamborghini Aventador, Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 and the new unreleased Porsche 911 Carrera S. Best of all – the limited edition is essentially free to those who pre-order their copy of The Run.

EA Games has gone away from offering stacked up limited edition games like the one being offered for Need for Speed: The Run with jacked up prices, instead rewarding those who pre-order the games in advance with special features that you would have otherwise paid more to have. These three special cars and five exclusive events will likely be offered in the Playstation Network and Xbox Live stores for an additional charge but by simply heading to the EA Games store (linked below) or by visiting your local Gamstop storefront and making a down payment on your copy of The Run, you will get these extras for free!

In addition to posting teasers, the EA Games website for Need for Speed: The Run has slowly been unveiling the vehicles included in the upcoming game with vehicles like the 1970 Dodge Challenger R/T, the Shebly GT500 Super Snake, the Mazda Miata MX5 and the McLaren MP4-12C being among the cars that virtual racers will tear across the country in while playing the next NFS game. Well, enough with the talk – on to the new video of Need for Speed: The Run. This video gives us a great look at the three vehicles offered in the limited edition package along with our first good clear look at the gameplay and graphics of the upcoming cross-country racer!
