With the old year rapidly running out the clock and the new year waiting in the wings for its turn on the calendar, it's time to make predictions. Here's one that is pretty clear, by 2025 there will be at least nine electric SUVs on the market. They come from across the automotive spectrum from established companies to startups.

Audi, which has produced some very interesting variants on its existing models, most notably the "S" series of sport vehicles, has no plans to build a second-gen Audi S1. According to a spokesman, there are many reasons for the move.

With the L.A. Auto Show set to begin next week, another automaker has announced it will introduce a new model. Audi will intro its e-tron SUV when the show kicks off in a little over a week.

Don't lament Audi's goodbye to manual transmission. Here is why it's good for you in the age of practicality.

We have no one to blame for the destruction of the manual transmission except for the few of us that were gifted to know how to use it. If we only knew how few of us existed, maybe we could have coordinated consumer demand to prevent the inevitable from happening. Electrics would have sealed their fate anyway.

After checking the numbers, it is official: the Audi A4 won't be offered with a manual transmission in 2019. Indeed, if you look at the numbers that show fewer than five percent of vehicles are delivered with manuals, then you can probably conclude that the manual will soon be extinct at Audi.

Now, another tuning firm has decided to tune the Atlas SUV. The results are incredible as the engine turns out 350 hourspower and 350 pounds-feet of torque. With Audi's new Q3 creating quite a stir, there's a new report that a new RS model of the Q3 is in the planning stage and should be delivered sometime in the 2019 sales year.
