The lastest from GM shows us that the C8 Corvette will hit a top speed of 194 miles per hour but this is in the base, non Z51 car. The Z51 package will lower this top speed down to 184 due to extra drag.

The C8 Corvette is in fact, not sold out. GM recently went on record and said that the new 2020 C8 Corvette was selling "fantastically" and at a record pace, but they absolutely wished the original statement of, the C8 Corvette being sold out, had not been made.

By the way according to a GM source, the 2020 C8 Corvette has already hit the first year of production numbers with pre-orders, but is not sold-out as reported by number of automotive news outlets.
