Tesla is one of the most well known names in the modern day automotive industry. It is the leading automotive manufacturer for battery powered cars. Yes, that means zero gasoline usage. It is without question that the evil genius behind this company, Elon Musk, has done anything except the abnormal. Their brand released their first car in 2008 and today in 2020 it is one of the most popular and practical options you can get on the market. Tesla’s have entered the market from the top down as they are quickly on their way to meet the $20,000 to $30,000 price mark, but their most popular models are $35,000 and above.

The brand is most noted by their quirky leader, their long range capabilities under one singular charge, their surprising performance aspects, and their cutting edge technology. Currently, the Model S holds the record for the longest range on one charge which was 370 miles, but Elon claims 400 miles is coming soon and also claims that the coming soon 2nd gen Tesla Roadster will not only be the fastest production car, but it will also have a range of 620 miles which is absurd.

The Current Tesla Lineup

  • Teslas Model 3 ————————————— Starting MSRP $35,000
  • Tesla Model S ————————————— Starting MSRP $75,000
  • Tesla Model X ————————————— Starting MSRP $81,000

Audi E-Tron Crossover SUV vs Tesla Model X - Who’s Next To Try and Beat The Tesla Model X

Audi made a big announcement today on Tuesday in the Electric Car Space. Its E-Tron crossover SUV made its first appearance at the Shanghai Auto Show. Funny how they chose Shanghai instead of New York City which is still happening this week.

4 Straight Forward Questions About the Specs of Tesla Semi and Pickup Truck I'd Like To Know

Last Thursday Tesla CEO Elon Musk tweeted that the new Tesla Semi truck would be debuted in September with a pickup truck coming shortly thereafter, but no specs were announced. Let the disruption continue! Musk has been the master of disruption for quite some time. These types of forward-looking hints to the future direction of the company has always been a key marketing ploy of Mr. Musk.

Lucid vs Tesla: Why Tesla has something to worry about

Lucid has made a splash recently with its streamlined sedan and 1000Hp electric car claim and when it comes to comparing with Tesla it stands as a serious challenger to Tesla Motors. I was able to see the car up close on Wednesday at the NY International Auto Show at the Javitz Center in New York City. If you have the opportunity I strongly recommend a trip in to see all the cars from all the automotive giants.

Insufficient Lithium supply inhibits mainstreaming the electric car

With everything from the cellphone in your pocket to that advanced long-lived lithium-ion battery installed in that new 4-motor drone you surprised the wife with last Christmas, a very limited world-wide supply of the mined, rare earth element Lithium, may be the greatest obstacle in mainstreaming the electric car.
Tesla Model 3

What To Do While You Wait On For Your Tesla 3?

I have read on some forums of the dilemma that Tesla Model 3 reservation holders are experiencing because of the long awaited arrival of the much anticipated Model 3. While many were early to get in their deposits, some sleeping in line and gladly donating their $1000 deposits, others of us on the East Coast sat back and looked at the anticipated roll out dates.

Electric Cars Coming To 2017 NY Auto Show and Their Range Issues

Last year I had the opportunity to attend the NY Auto Show at the Javitz Center in NYC and it was to work at the Sierra Club booth right in front of the registration area to test drive an Electric Car. This was a surreal event as you can easily drive the BMW I3, Nissan Leaf, and Soul EV around the track on the Lower Level of the Center even indoors because there is never any pollution from the EV itself. Try doing that with the internal combustion engine, known as an ICE engine.
