Tesla is one of the most well known names in the modern day automotive industry. It is the leading automotive manufacturer for battery powered cars. Yes, that means zero gasoline usage. It is without question that the evil genius behind this company, Elon Musk, has done anything except the abnormal. Their brand released their first car in 2008 and today in 2020 it is one of the most popular and practical options you can get on the market. Tesla’s have entered the market from the top down as they are quickly on their way to meet the $20,000 to $30,000 price mark, but their most popular models are $35,000 and above.

The brand is most noted by their quirky leader, their long range capabilities under one singular charge, their surprising performance aspects, and their cutting edge technology. Currently, the Model S holds the record for the longest range on one charge which was 370 miles, but Elon claims 400 miles is coming soon and also claims that the coming soon 2nd gen Tesla Roadster will not only be the fastest production car, but it will also have a range of 620 miles which is absurd.

The Current Tesla Lineup

  • Teslas Model 3 ————————————— Starting MSRP $35,000
  • Tesla Model S ————————————— Starting MSRP $75,000
  • Tesla Model X ————————————— Starting MSRP $81,000
  • Tesla Model Y ————————————— Starting MSRP $52,990

Ideal Tesla Combination: Electric Car, Solar & Powerwall

As an ideal combination that would allow anybody – with enough resources – to go 100% electric in a sustainable way, having any of the Tesla lineup models and a Powerwall + Solar Roof (or solar tiles-shingles) from Tesla would make the ideal combination in terms of green energy, and in the long run, in terms of economic-financial sense.

Tesla Cybertruck

Tesla Cybertruck Solar Tonneau as Compared to Solar Cars

The Cybertruck’s solar tonneau is certainly a key feature for any future buyer, given the fact that it would give the possibility of semi-total independence from the grid and charging stations; obviously depending on the number of miles a day driven. With 15 miles of added solar range, and with the option of adding another 25 miles (totaling 40 miles on 100% solar) by adding extra foldable solar wings, the feature is certainly attractive.

Tesla Giga Berlin Approvals and Elon Musk

Tesla: Pre-Approvals for Giga Berlin and 4680 Battery Cell Production

As of yesterday evening, Tesla Giga Berlin received 2 additional pre-approvals from the Brandenburg State Environment Agency for its Giga Factory in Grünheide, Germany. That means that the construction of rainwater pools, extinguishing water and some other buildings can basically go ahead, which is certainly good news not only for Tesla fans, but for the EV industry in Germany and in Europe as well, as that factory will be providing cars and 4680 cells for the European market.
