Dodge News, Pricing and Reviews
It was a stormy day in West Texas in the outskirts of Odessa and I was driving around in my 2010 Dodge Challenger SRT8. Normally I would catch myself driving around for fun always capturing great pictures of my car with beautiful sunset's in the background.
Well this day happened to be very cloudy and dark with no sunset visible but there was a big storm rolling in so I knew I had to capture a few pictures with those dark mean clouds.
In 1969 I graduated from an Engineering College. A lot us purchased a new car upon graduation and Muscle Cars were flying off dealer lots. I saw a bright blue '69 Roadrunner, 383, white interior and Hurst 4 speed. I test drove it and had to have it. I paid around $2500 for it and the wife didn't drive at all. We have had Mopars for the last 30 consecutive years.
I bought my first car from Shively Motors in 2010 and got a great deal on a beautiful black Dodge Charger for my son. While I was there, I scoped out the Challengers, but wasn’t quite ready to buy then. In February of 2013 I found myself looking for a muscle car. Checked out several lots and was getting serious about a 5.0 liter Mustang when I decided to stop by Shively on a whim.
Do you need something that you can haul the kids and cargo around in without having to drive a minivan or a “Mom Car?” Why not check out the Dodge Challenger SXT? You may not think of the Challenger as a family car but you might be pleasantly surprise.
