Toyota Tundra, Tacoma, 4 Runner are best 2018 models for resale value.

KBB: Top Three Vehicles For Resale Value Are 2018 Toyota Tacoma, 4Runner, and Tundra. Can You Guess The Order?

Toyota vehicles take the top three spots on KBB's 2018 list of vehicles with the best projected resale value. Which is number one, Tundra, 4Runner, or Tacoma?

Kelly Blue Book (KBB) has just released it newest list of the 2018 models it projects to be the top vehicles overall for resale value. The Toyota4Runner, Toyota Tacoma pickup, and Toyota Tundra pickup are the top three overall.

It was again the Tacoma that was number one followed by the Tundra and 4Runner. This list is for all vehicles in the U.S. market, not just trucks and SUVs. Trucks and SUVs just happen to be the best overall for resale value.

The top nine vehicles overall were trucks and SUVs. The 2018 Jeep Wrangler comes in at number four, followed by the GM truck twins, the Sierra and Silverado. The only car that makes the top-ten overall best vehicles for resale value is the Subaru WRX.

Toyota's reputation for quality, durability, and reliability has propelled its models into the top ranks of vehicles with the best resale value. KBB is not the only resale value source that ranks Toyota models tops in resale value. Edmunds also picked the Tacoma as the top vehicle for resale value in a recent list, as did NADA.

The only organization that frequently steers shoppers away from the new Toyota Tacoma is Consumer Reports. CR has often warned consumers that the 2018 Tacoma may have poor reliability and has added the Tacoma to its "worst buys" list. This despite Consumer Reports survey revealing that past models were always tops in reliability.
