General Motors hasn’t offered much official information on the 7th generation of the Chevrolet Corvette but with the C7 expected to hit sometime around 2014, Inside Line is reporting that the next gen Corvette will come with a 7-speed manual transmission, allowing the Corvette to keep up with the Jones’ – with the Jones’ being the new Porsche 911.

Forza 4 to offer first playable demo on October 3rd

Microsoft and Turn 10 Studios has announced that the first playable demo for the upcoming Forza Motorsports 4 will be available on October 3rd for Xbox Live Gold members (October 7th for everyone else) and when the game is launched in the US on October 11th, Forza aficionados will have a chance to snag a ton of extra content with the Season Pass.

U.S. shoppers are using "bridge-the-gap" car leasing in greater numbers than ever before, according to the Web site LeaseTrader.com. “Bridge-the-gap” leasing is auto industry parlance for people taking over someone else’s remaining short-term car lease until dealer inventory levels return to normal so when they do they can buy the car they want to own.

Republicans Look to Move Funding for Battery Technology to Clean-up Storm Damage

Republicans are looking to take money from a Department of Energy program that fosters the development of battery technology. They propose moving the money to help clean up some of the damage caused by a series of storms. Emergency funds have been cut in the wave of funding cuts that government has instituted.
