Audi planning to buy Ducati for $1.1 billion

According to an insider speaking with the folks from Automotive News, Audi is planning the buy Italian motorcycle builder Ducati for the sum of around $1.1 billion – provided that the supervisory board at parent company Volkswagen approves the deal in a vote this Wednesday.
