The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has announced that they have upgraded their preliminary investigation of the 2006 and 2007 Chevrolet Trailblazer to an engineering analysis while also adding the GMC, Buick, Saab and Isuzu, a move which could lead to a recall of 341,786 vehicles in the US.

Feds upgrade Toyota door fire investigation, expanding to over 1.4 million vehicles

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has upgraded their investigation relating to possible fire hazards in the door of select Toyota vehicles to an engineering analysis, while also adding new models years and a large spread of popular models that could potentially be included in a recall – a recall that could reach over 1.4 million vehicles.

As the Third Annual Rocky Mountain Driving Experience neared its conclusion, Acura, Honda, Kia, Mitsubishi and Nissan had their vehicles at the Core Off Road Extreme to demonstrate their ability to negotiate unpaved, ungraded roads with plenty of twists, turns, bumps and unlevel surfaces on the 2-mile rally track.

Racing about High Plains Raceway on RMDE day two

The second day of the Third Annual Rocky Mountain Driving Experience began with a drive to High Plains Raceway, after another scrumptious breakfast courtesy of Subaru, represented by Sean Maynard. Subaru brought the 2013 BR-Z to the track with such positive response it was difficult to find the new model with an empty driver’s seat.
